1. Understand the use of the words, expressions and sentences:
Theme, central, various, unique, preserve, athletic, minority, cloth, advance, outing, admission; be famous + prep, no wonder, be modalled after, in advance, get close to, come to life; Try to match the names of the parks with the pictures. etc.
2. Oral practice——Talk about the pictures on page 33 and answer the questions in warming-up in English.
3.Reading comprehension practice by all reading skills, such as skimming, scanning, Intensive reading and extensive reading, etc.
4.Do the comprehending exercises in this unit.
