Lead in by completing two tasks. One is to ask students to choose a mobile phone for me and the other is to help them understand the way American people choose their president. In this way the topic of “comparing information” is presented. (PPT4-7)

1.       Tell students that I want to buy a new mobile phone and my husband recommends the two in the picture to me. Ask them if they have good ways to help me to make the decision. Then show them the information on ppt5 and tell them I have made final decision by comparing information.
