A
For tech-crazy travellers, below are four most advanced tech destinations to visit.
Silicon Valley, America
Home to many of the world’s largest high-tech corporations.
In Apple Park, the Visitor Center is the only part tourists are permitted to visit. There are four main areas: an Apple Store featuring Apple-branded goods not sold at regular Apple stores, a cafe, an exhibition space, and a roof terrace overlooking the campus.
In the Googleplex, there is no Google campus tour. The only way a member of the public can tour the inside of campus buildings is by an employee — so if you happen to know one, ask him or her to show you around.
Zhongguancun, China
A technology center in Haidian District.
Known as “Electronics Avenue” from the early 1980s on, due to its information technology markets, in 1999, it became the “Zhongguancun Science & Technology Zone”, with seven parks, where over 12,000 high-tech enterprises were operating according to the 2004 Beijing Statistical Yearbook.
Many world-famous technology companies built their Chinese headquarters and research centers in Zhongguancun Technology Park, such as Google, Intel.
Seoul, South Korea
The world’s “most wired city”, ranked first in technology readiness by PwC’s Cities of Opportunity report. With the world’s highest fibre-optic broadband widely accepted and the highest global average Internet speeds of 26.1 Mbit/s, it is among the world leaders in Internet connectivity. In some apartment buildings, Internet speeds reach up to 52.5 Gbit/s.

The “IT capital of India” plays a role as the nation’s leading IT exporter. Around 47% of the 265 biotechnology companies in India are located in Bangalore.
