Do you love music? If you do, you may want to go to a music festival. There are many great music festivals in the coming summer. Below are some of them. See if you’re interested in any of them.
Bonnaroo, June 9—12, Manchester, Tennessee
Rock ‘n’ rollers, this one is for you. With the reunion (再度联合) of Pearl Jam, Dead & Company, and LCD Soundsystem, Bonnaroo’s major acts throw us back to some of the biggest rock names in the game. We are expected to see a lot of moving bodies at “the farm” this year. Be sure to check: Kamasi Washington, Father John Misty, and BORNS.
Pitchfork, July 15—17, Chicago
Returning to Chicago’s Union Park for its 11th year, Pitchfork includes some of our favorite rising stars (Anderson Paak and the Free Nationals) as well as famous stars such as Carly Rae Jepsen. Be sure to check: Empress Of, Neon Indian, and Savages.
Sasquatch, May 27—30, George, Washington
Washington’s Gorge Ampitheater is the kind of place where happiness is found. Plus, there’s quite an exciting list of stars this year including Disclosure, Jamie XX, Todd Terje, Four Tet, Caribou, and many others.
Summerfest, June 29—July 3 and July 5—10, Milwaukee
Summerfest is a big surprise for everyone—it lasts for 11 days with 11 stages and over 800 acts. Also, the ticket is really cheap, which is a really good reason to visit Wisconsin this summer. Favorite acts include Selena Gomez, Alabama Shakes, Luke Bryan, Kacey Musgraves, and many others. Our suggestion: go in with a plan of what to see, or you’ll be totally lost.
