A Day in Berlin
Heading to the German capital for a quick city break? Not got a clue where to start with all the sights and things to do? Not to worry—here’s your day in Berlin mapped out．
9am：Breakfast
Café Einstein Stammhaus is a great place to get your day started with its excellent coffees and extensive breakfast menu．
10 am：Take a tour
After breakfast，a great way to cover a lot of ground quickly is by joining a walking tour．Check out Sandemans New Europe，Original Berlin Walks or Brewers Berlin Tours，all of which offer tours that last roughly three to four hours．Another way to see Berlin from a slightly different perspective is to get onto the water．
1 pm：Lunch
A classic Berlin fast food dish is the Currywurst—chopped sausage with tomato sauce．Don’t eat meat? No bother．Konnopke’s also serves up a vegan Currywurst．
3 pm：Climb the Reichstag
The Reichstag is open every day from 08：00—24：00 and admission is free．You do need to register online in advance，where you will need to give the full names and date of birth of everyone in your party．When you go to the Reichstag，don’t forget to bring a piece of official photo ID—a passport or driver’s licence is acceptable．
7 pm：Dinner and drinks
For dinner，check out the Adana Grillhaus where the meat，fish and vegetable specialties are grilled over charcoal and the friendly，lively atmosphere is as authentically Berlin as you will find in the city．The Adana Grillhaus is open daily from 12：00—02：00．
