本单元word power主要目的是让学生了解更多与大学有关的内容和词汇，开拓学生的视野，有效提高学生学习英语的主动性和积极性，培养学生的英语学习兴趣，改善学生的学习方式，提高学生的英语学习效果，同时更快地发展和加强英语知识的运用能力。
Teaching aims:
After learning the word power, the students will be able to:
1. know more about university courses and the different titles and positions at university;
2. know more about the abbreviations related to university degrees;
3. use the new words and phrases they have learned to write a report.
